''How To Take Care Of'' Your Underarms

                                     ''HOW TO TAKE CARE OF''

The ''underarms'' or rather the ''armpits'' is one of the most important part of the body, I mean this particular spot determines how people will look at you,nop I think ''approach'' is the best word. So if you want that extra confidence just follow these very simple steps and thank me later.

Step one:
Shower daily: The skin is your body's largest organ, and washing it frequently will help protect you and your underarms against harmful bacteria, odor, and illness. Use warm water and a mild soap.

Step two:
Wear natural fibers: Fabrics made of natural fibers (cotton, wool, silk e.t.c) rather than synthetic ones (nylon,polyester,e.t.c) your skin to ''breathe'' easier. This means sweat will evaporate quicker, keeping moisture, bacteria, and odor under control. Make sure to wear clean clothing and wash your clothing frequently.

Step three:
Be careful of foods that make your sweat smell worse: Food with strong scents, such as garlic, onions, and spices like curry can contribute to body odor. Other products are coffee and tobacco may also be contributing factors (if you doubt me google.com is your friend). Limiting how much of these you eat or use will ultimately keep your underarms feeling and smelling fresh.
If you want to determine if a particular food is causing offensive odor, eliminate it from your diet and see if the problem goes away. If it does not, try eliminating other foods one by one until you determine which one has the effect.

Step four:
Apply deodorant after shower: Deodorants typically work by masking body odor with various scents. If you choose one with triclosan (an antibacterial agent) as an ingredient, it will also help to eliminate bacteria and thus odor.

Step five:
Shave regularly: This helps underarms dry more quickly, keeping of odor down. Many also believe it improves appearance. You can choose an electric razor, a non-electric razor with disposable blades, or a disposable razor.
  • Begin by washing. Shave after showering and drying your underarms. The warmth will open the pores of your skin, making it somewhat easier to remove hair.
  • Apply shaving cream, if desired. Many people prefer to use a shaving cream (I prefer to use a shaving cream) to make the shaving process easier and to reduce irritation. Follow the directions your cream supplies, but generally speaking you will only need to apply a thin, even coat.

Step six:
Lighten underarms using simple remedies: Darkening of underarm skin can have a number of causes, including dead skin accumulation or a reaction to a deodorant. If you find this darkening disagreeable, you may want to lighten the skin. There are commercial skin lightening creams, but these are not well regulated and may contain harsh chemicals. Luckily, there are natural ways of lightening the skin. Some of the simplest and most effective include:
  • Take a slice of lemon and rub it on your underarms, or mix lemon juice with yoghurt to make a paste. Apply it to your underarms and leave for ten minutes, then wash off. Lemon is a natural bleaching agent that will lighten your skin.
  • Often, dead skin cells cause underarm skin to darken, so regular exfoliation can also help. Exfoliants can dry out and irritate the skin, so choose a mild one.

Follow these steps and you can throw your hands up without shame. For more tips go to wikihow.com. You are welcome.
